What To Wear: On A Road Trip

Jul 4, 2011   //   by Rory Tunbridge   //   No Comments

Picture it. You and your closest pals are piled into a car, the tunes are cranked and your expectations are running high. When it comes to cruising for a hot summer fling, I always say there’s a difference between looking killer on the road and looking like road kill. Now is the time to put the scenery to shame and draw attention to your fabulous assets. Remember that someone is always watching, be it a MILF, a DILF, or a random single POA whose clothes look great on but would look better… off. Here’s your map to making choices with true curb appeal. Ladies and Gents: start your engines and let the road trip begin!

No spare tires here

Ladies, pack a lot of punch in your bags with a padded push-up bra, Daisy Dukes , a can-do attitude and, for a little roadside motel-chic, a fiery red boxed hair color that takes you from frizzy to fierce overnight. Thoug

Who Wore it Best? | Diane Kruger and Charlotte Casiraghi in Chanel

Today’s edition of when “Who Wore It Best” takes us all the way to Monaco. At the wedding of Prince Albert II and Charlene Wittstock this past weekend, Princess Charlotte Casiraghi upstaged the bride in a gorgeous, pink Chanel dress from the Spring/Summer 2011 Haute Couture collection. I had a serious case of déjà vu as Diane Kruger wore the same distinctive dress earlier this year to a charity dinner in Paris only 48 hours after it was shown on the runway (one of the many benefits of being Karl’s BFF). Both ladies similarly kept their hair up and accessorized with black heels while the runway model, Snejana Onopka, wore black flats.

Who do you think wore their couture best? Personally, my vote is for Diane (her lipstick is divine) but take a look and tell us what you think.

Kate Moss Wears John Galliano Wedding Gown

Jul 3, 2011   //   by Rory Tunbridge   //   No Comments

At her wedding this weekend to rock Jamie Hince, Kate Moss wore a vintage looking delicate lace cream gown cut on the bias designed by her friend John Galliano. Galliano did NOT show up at her wedding, though. Meanwhile, she wore custom made Manola Blahniks that had light blue in-soles for the old something borrowed, something blue adage. Famous hair stylist Sam McKnight waved her hair in a lovely wood-nymph look, and she wore softer makeup than she usually does. But you cant say she doesnt look amazing.

Cheburashka. Bremenskie Muzikanti. If you have a hard time pronouncing the table names at Natalia Vodianovas White Fairy Tale Love Ball, you wont be alone. Natalia is driving the calligrapher crazy, Giancarlo Giammetti said yesterday at his Left Bank home. The Russian supermodel is, as she put it, in the last few hundred yards of a marathon, preparing for the fundraiser for her Naked Heart Foundation being held at Valentinos Chateau Wideville outside Paris tomorrow night. Vodianovas kids favorite Soviet-era cartoons (Google the Russian names above for vintage clips) partly inspired the gala. A charity fashion show isnt a new idea; its been done by many people, she said. But I thought fairy-tale dressesthe ultimate Cinderella dressesby the worlds top designers would be something interesting.
