OVERVIEW: There really arent a lot of surprises in a Maria Cornejo show what there is is a steady stream of handsome wearable clothes that dont date staples that arent exactly Michael Kors. Theyre a bit avant garde, with a bit of Japanese influence, and western fabrics and fit. Cornejo always makes great jackets, skirts, dresses and pants for a modern woman whos stylish, hip but not at all trendy. And they are always in her fall palette of black, brown, navy, tan. This season, she added pumpkin color, bright red, electric blue,pale grey, silver and white to her palette very surprising, and the way she mixed and matched it was definitely like no one elses use of color.
